Client

Noosphere Space Games is a virtual rocket modeling competition organized by the NGO “Association Noosphere” and the Ukrainian Rocket Modeling Sport Federation. Participants use Kerbal Space Program and have access to various parts for building fully functional spacecraft that flies according to realistic aerodynamic and orbital physics principles.

Challenge

Our team faced two main objectives: develop branding and create a website that would be both interesting and comprehensible for teenage audiences. We needed to consider that this was an online competition and design a functionally clear website for registration, information sharing, and participant/winner recognition. Then develop visual communication design for social media, presentations, and printed materials.

Solution

For successful implementation, we researched, reviewed, and analyzed space-related websites and visuals that appeal to our specific target audience. We understood that teenagers needed visuals in a “space retro” style – dark with a couple of bright neon colors and characteristic interface elements.

Logo for Space Explorers

Our team developed both full and compact versions of the logo, allowing convenient adaptation for various promotional materials. Its design conveyed key ideas of virtual rocket building, space themes, and digital technology. The compact version is an expressive yet concise combination of digital elements, accent colors, and original typography using the name’s abbreviation. The full version combines space chevron shapes with the compact logo, name, and event tagline.

Color Depths of the Universe in Design

From the rich space color palette, we chose deep dark blue as the primary color, adding additional shades to create harmonious contrasts with accent colors. For highlighting important elements in content and visual details, we selected bright, almost neon colors.

Geometric Fonts of the Spaceship Screen

Fira Sans became the primary font, notable for its clean and concise forms built on strict geometry. For number stylization, we chose Digital Numbers Font, which mimics the appearance of digits on digital displays: clocks, electronic boards, and indicators

Space Adventures at a Click: Website for Contestants

Welcome aboard the virtual spaceship — the Noosphere Space Games website! Functional blocks such as calendar, registration, tasks, conditions, and nominations were harmoniously integrated into the design, making them both attractive and user-friendly for young audiences.

The interface creates an incredible spaceship atmosphere with elements like countdown timers, space tabs, and rocket blueprints. Our team aimed to develop an engaging visual style that would especially appeal to young space explorers.

To ensure maximum accessibility, we developed an adaptive mobile version that retained all graphic elements and full website functionality.

The client needed a ready-to-use product with a hosting setup that could handle traffic immediately. Thus, our HTML coders diligently completed development according to design, configured forms, tested, and launched the site live. The PHP Laravel framework was used.

Presentations as a Balance of Style and Content

Through successful implementation of space brand style elements, infographics gained both aesthetic appeal and informative value. Our years of experience in designing presentations and commercial proposals were utilized for effective interaction with sponsors and partners. This approach ensured successful project presentation at all communication levels.

How to Turn Merchandise into Memories

To make victory even more memorable, we developed special designs for certificates, awards, stickers and patches, power banks, space bags, and t-shirts. Systematic use of brand style across all merchandise elements helped create an unforgettable impression and preserve bright memories of the competition for all participants.

Social Community of Space Travelers

Our task was to build a community of virtual space explorers around the project’s social media. The organizers’ communication capabilities significantly expanded thanks to our developed visuals for Instagram and Facebook. We created both unique creatives and templates for convenient use and continuous communication between organizers and contestants.
